Cellblock with Billowing Smoke During the Riot

Smoke, possibly from a grenade, pours from a window of the Alcatraz cellhouse. The wall is pockmarked with bulletholes, testament to the fusillade of bullets fired by officers in an attempt to subdue the 1946 Alcatraz "Blastout."
