Last year Philip Markoff, the Craigslist Killer, was charged with using Craigslist advertisements to find, rape and kill women who were advertising erotic services. Last month, two Ohio men are suspected of robbing and killing middle-aged men with few family contacts by luring them to an Ohio ranch with a Craigslist advertising offering them a job and a place to live.

11/25/11: Woman Pepper Sprays Shoppers

A woman who allegedly pepper sprayed a crowd of people trying to get to Xbox video game players at a Los Angeles-area Walmart on Black Friday. The incident caused injury to at least 20 people.

11/19/11: Peaceful Protests and Pepper Spray

A video has been posted online showing a group of seated protesters being pepper-sprayed by police officers at the University of California at Davis.

The passive protest was being held to show solidarity with the Occupy Wall Street (OWS) movement.

According to reports protesters locked arms, sat down and refused to stand when the police began removing their tents. Police officers then walked down the line of seated protestors and sprayed the protesters directly in the face with pepper spray.

11/12/11: Michael Jackson's Deathbed for Auction

Julien's Auctions will be auctioning off some of the personal belongings of Michael Jackson, including his deathbed.

The auction is scheduled to take place at Jackson's former home on December 17, 2011. On December 12, the items will be available for public for viewing at the Julien's Auctions gallery in Beverly Hills.

11/4/11: The Drunk Pilot

A Denver federal court convicted a United Express pilot of co-piloting a commercial flight while intoxicated. The pilot, Aaron Jason Cope, 33, was sentenced to six months in federal prison, an additional six months in home detention and two years of supervised release.

10/21/11: Who Is More Culpable?

Christian Fernandez, age 12, will be prosecuted as an adult for killing his 2-year-old brother David, by slamming him into a bookcase twice.

Christian's mother, Biannela Susana, 25, left Christian to supervise his brother when the incident occurred. When his mother returned the baby was still alive. Instead of calling 9-1-1 she allegedly got on the internet for at least four hours and surfed for keywords like "unconscious" and "concussion," downloaded music, looked at her checking account and viewed YouTube videos.

Christian has a history of being physically, mentally and sexually abused by his step-father, who later shot and killed himself in front of Christian.

10/15/11: A Case of Child Abuse?

A Lakeland, Florida school bus drive, Hattie Yvonne Branch, age 70, was arrested and charged with child abuse after she was caught on camera hitting, pushing, and biting a 14-year-old boy on a special needs bus.

Branch, who is 4-foot-7 and much shorter than the boy says it was a case of self defense.

10/9/11: Will Christopher Johnson Be Executed?

Christopher Johnson was scheduled to be executed in Alabama on October 20, 2011, for the murder of his infant son in 2005. This was not the usual criminal case because Johnson, at the last minute, decided to act as his own attorney and he refused to appeal his death sentence. Read the case.

9/24/11: Stop Last Meal Requests?

Texas death row inmates no longer have last meal requests. The tradition ended when death row inmate Lawrence Brewer requested for his last meal considered excessive. When the food was delivered Brewer said he wasn't hungry.

For now on inmates scheduled for execution will receive the same meal as the other inmates.
