Weekly Crime Poll: Victim or Perpetrator?

On June 7, Abigail "Abbi" Obermiller, 17, vanished. The straight-A student with no history of behavioral problems was in a relationship with a "very possessive" 21-year-old boyfriend, a situation Abbi's parents did not like. The boyfriend, Robert "Bobby" Young, did not cooperate with police in helping to find Abbi, despite the desperate pleas from her parents.

This week Abbi was found hiding in Young's attic and both she and Young have been charged with various crimes. But was Abbi a victim being controlled by an older, possessive boyfriend or a perpetrator that purposely defied her parents and the law?
