Trial Postponed for Mother of 'Baby Grace'

As jury selection was about to begin for the murder trial of the mother of "Baby Grace," prosecutors announced that the trial of Kimberly Trenor had been postponed until January. Trenor is facing capital murder charges for the death of her daughter, Riley Ann Sawyers.

After Riley's body was found in a storage tub on the banks of Galveston Baby she became known as "Baby Grace" until a family member identified her.

Prosecutors gave no reason for the delay in the trial. Trenor's husband, Royce Zeigler, is also facing a trial for the murder of the child. Investigators say it was Zeigler who actually killed Riley, while Trenor did nothing to stop it and help cover up the crime.

Prosecutors are not seeking the death penalty in the case.
