Baby Found in Washing Machine, Mother Charged

A woman whose infant son's body was found in a washing machine when firefighters extinguished an intentionally set fire in her home, is expected to face murder charges. Latunga Starks, 32, is being held in Los Angeles County Jail pending charges and an autopsy report for the infant. Investigators said Starks showed no emotion at all when she was questioned about the death of her three-month old son, Michael Kelvin Thompson.
