On Sept. 15, 2006, police found the body of 23-year-old Jimella Tunstall wrapped in a shower curtain in a vacant lot in Belleville, Illinois. An autopsy revealed that her unborn child had been cut from her womb with a pair of scissors.

A citywide search was launched for Tunstall's three missing children. Acting on a tip, police returned to Tunstall's public housing complex and found the bodies of the children stuffed in a clothes washer and dryer. They had been drugged and then drowned in a bathtub.

Arrested and charged in the case was Tiffany Hall, 24, a lifelong friend of Tunstall's who regularly baby-sat her children.
