JonBenet Ramsey:
JonBenet Ramsey was born on August 6, 1990 in Atlanta, Georgia to John Bennet and Patsy Ramsey. She had an older brother, Burke, and three half-siblings from John Ramsey's first marriage -- John Andrew, Melinda and Elizabeth [deceased in 1992]. In 1991 the family relocated to Bolder, Colorado where JonBenet attended High Peaks Elementary School.
Beauty Pageantry :
Patsy Ramsey was a former beauty queen and introduced JonBenet to the world of pageantry. She won several awards including Little Miss Colorado, National Tiny Miss Beauty and Little Miss Christmas.
Caring, Considerate, Happy:
JonBenet's participation was played up in the press, but by all accounts she was just an average child and even considered by her brother to be a tomboy. She attended St. Johns Episcopal Church and High Peaks Elementary school in Boulder. Her classmates and teachers reported that she was a caring, considerate, happy and friendly child.
JonBenet is Found Murdered:
On December 25, 1996 in Boulder, Colorado, six-year-old JonBenet was found brutally murdered in the basement of the family home. The case is still unsolved.
