According to police, Dickinson, who was an Ellicott School Board member until her arrest, began sexting the 14-year-old, who was her son's friend, after a camping trip that Dickinson, her husband, two sons and the boy took in August, 2011.
The victim's sister discovered the sext messages on the boys phone after she witnessed Dickinson inappropriately hugging the boy.
The messages included Dickson telling the boy how she was going to rock his (blanking) world. She also warned him not to tell anyone because she could lose her family.
Police arrested Dickinson in September, but then another victim surfaced. A 17-year-old former babysitter for Dickinson's sons told police that he had sex with Dickinson in 2008 and during his senior year in high school. Dickinson was arrested again and charged with sexual assault.
Dickinson will be placed on 10 years to life on sex-offender intensive supervised parole. She was ordered to have no contact with anyone under the age of 18, including her own children. She is permitted to speak to her children on the telephone.
