Marie Johnson, a married 40-year-old math teacher at Granada High School in Livermore, California, was arrested on 24 counts including sexual intercourse with a minor, lewd acts with a minor, and oral copulation with a 14-year-old boy.
"They met each other through social media, texting, Facebook, and then through Words With Friends' chatting option," Livermore Police Officer Steve Goard told ABC-7. He added that the relationship started out as friendship, which turned sexual. "That sexual relation occurred inside her car and then throughout other different locations in Livermore, mainly in her car." said Goard.
Johnson, who has been a teacher at the school for 13 years, was placed on paid administrative leave pending the investigation.
