Under Clark's sentence she will not be allowed to have any contact with her teenage husband until his 17th birthday, she will be on probation for four years, she will not be allowed to be in contact with any children (other than her own) and she will be required to register as a sexual offender.
Last November, Clark married her teenage lover under a Georgia law that allows children to marry if the bride-to-be is pregnant. Shortly after the marriage, Clark was arrested and charged with statutory rape, child molestation and enticing a minor.
Georgia legislators are currently making moves to change the 1962 law which allowed the two to marry.
