Kellie Ryan, 26, of Maryland Heights, Missouri, was arrested and charged with two counts of statutory sodomy and one count of statutory rape.
Police said that Ryan, who was a physical education and health teacher at Trinity Catholic High School, was engaging in an alleged sexual relationship with a 15-year-old male student between Nov. 1, 2009 and April 16, 2010.
An anonymous caller contacted the Missouri Department of Social Services Family Support Division's hot line and tipped off police. After an investigation Ryan was arrested.
