Herman Webster Mudgett

Herman Webster Mudgett, alias "Dr. Harry Howard Holmes," confessed to murdering 27 men, women and children during the late 1800s. Many of his victims were staying in a hotel Mudgett constructed to accommodate visitors to the 1893 World's Fair.
