Gary Leon Ridgway, aka the Green River Killer, confessed to 48 murders he committed in the early 1980s in and around Seattle and Tacoma, Washington. His victims were mostly female prostitutes and teenaged runaways. He is currently serving 48 life-sentences for his crimes.
