Darlie Routier - Guilty or Not Guilty?

Darlie Routier is on death row in Texas, convicted of the murder of one of her two sons, killed in the early morning of June 6, 1996. The media coverage of the murders of Devon and Damon Routier depicted the crime as a cut and dry case of another heartless mother whose children were getting in the way of her lifestyle, so she killed them.

Since her conviction, Darlie and her family know more of how the legal system works. They have presented a far different picture then originally shown by the press. Many have changed their minds about Routier's innocence, including author Barbara Davis, who added a chapter in her book, Precious Angels, disputing the prosecutor's case.
