On May 23, 1934, a posse of police officers from Louisiana and Texas abused Bonnie and Clyde along a remote road in Sailes, Louisiana. Some say the couple was hit with over 50 bullets each. Others say it they were each hit with 25 bullets. Either way, Bonnie and Clyde were killed instantly.
