Drug Testing

Definition: Random and targeted technical examination of urine samples to determine the presence or absence of specified drugs or their metabolized Process whereby an offender’s disposition is modified or suspended based on levels of custody and intervention appropriate to the offender’s level of risk, need, and responsivity. Available resources, attention to just sentencing, and interagency collaboration are essential components of diversion programs.
