Former Dallas Cowboys football player and later, ESPN's NFL Countdown broadcaster, Michael Irvin was arrested in Plano, Texas after police stopped him for speeding. When police searched his vehicle they found drug paraphernalia and arrested Irvin for a Class C misdemeanor.
Irvin later said the paraphernalia was some that he had taken from a friend (later disclosed as his brother) in an effort to help him with his drug problems.
