Sacramento Kings forward Ron Artest was arrested in March 2007 after police responded to a 911 call from his Sacramento suburb home allegedly from Artest's wife, Kimsha Artest. The NBA star was charged with domestic violence and using force to keep a victim from reporting a crime and later released on $50,000 bail from the Placer County jail.
If the charge sticks, this will be the second domestic violence charge against Artest. In 2004, Artest completed anger management after his arrest for brawling with the mother of his children.
