Axl Rose has been arrested over 30 times throughout his life on various assault and drunken disorderly charges and acted as his own lawyer to defend himself numerous times.
This mugshot was taken after his arrest for inciting a riot at the July 2, 1991, concert near St. Louis. According to the reports, Rose jumped off the stage and tackled someone in the audience. He then returned to the stage and declared that the security was too lax and ended the concert. Many in the audience rioted as a result of the canceled concert.
The charges were eventually dropped.
