In March 2011 Mel Gibson, 55, pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor battery charge after he and his former girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva, got into a fight. Gibson was sentenced to three years probation, one year of domestic-violence counseling and ordered to undergo mental health counseling.
