On August 22, 2006, in Travis County, Davis entered the unoccupied apartment and when one of the residents arrived home, a 15-year-old girl, Davis sexually assaulted her. He then waited until the second victim, a 57-year-old woman returned home. At that time, he punched her several times with a closed fist and then stabbed her six times in the chest and back area, later causing her death.
