Last Day Mother Saw Caylee Anthony
June 9, 2008Casey Anthony, mother of two-year-old Caylee Anthony, told her parents and police that June 9, 2008, was the last day she saw her daughter.
Anthony told investigators that she left Caylee with a friend and nanny, Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez (Zanie), but has since lost contact with her friend.
Police were told about the missing child on July 15, 2008, when the child's grandparents called 9-1-1 and reported Caylee missing after confronting Casey and learning that the mother had not seen her daughter for 31 days.
