It may be a long shot, but investigators are looking into the possible link between a Indiana man accused of killing three women and the case of a missing 20-year-old University of Indiana college student. Convicted sex offender William Clyde Gibson is accused of three murders in New Albany, about 100 miles from when Lauren Spierer disappeared in Bloomington.

Ten people have been questioned as persons of interest, DNA samples have been collected from friends, lakes and woods have been searched, but authorities have few clues and no suspects in the case of an Indiana University student missing since June 3.
