Actor Brad Renfro Ordered Into Rehab
Actor Brad Renfro, who starred in movies "The Client" and "Tom and Huck," has been placed on three years probation and ordered into a drug treatment program after he entered a plea of guilty to charges of trying to buy heroin during a Los Angeles drug sting.
Renfro, (pictured) now 23 years old, will have to submit to random drug tests and show up in court again March 6 to check his rehabilitation progress. The child star was arrested with 14 people Dec. 22 during an undercover police operation in the skid row section of Los Angeles.
It's not Renfro's first brush with the law. In 2002 in Florida, when he was 18 years old, Renfro and a friend tried to steal a 45-foot yacht in Fort Lauderdale, but were caught when they forgot to untie the boat from the dock when they pulled away.
