Searchers Think They Are Close to Finding Lori Hacking

Tuesday September 28, 2004
Debris found in the Salt Lake County landfill with addresses from Lori Hacking's neighborhood has volunteer searchers encouraged that they may be close to finding her body as they manually sort through tons of trash.

Newspapers from near the date Lori was killed and envelopes from her husband's workplace were found by the volunteers who have been searching by hand through tons of trash for the past two weeks.

They have also found envelopes from areas where Mark Hacking is believed to have disposed of his wife's body.
