Mesa Woman Charged in Murder

By February 25, 2014

Follow me on:

Bloody DNA evidence at the crime scene led to capital murder charges for a 20-year-old Arizona woman for the death of a 54-year-old man in his apartment earlier this month. Judith Elaine Walthers has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of Kevin Worzalla in his Mesa apartment.

Walthers is also charged with trafficking in stolen property, tampering with evidence and theft of a means of transportation.

Police found the body of Worzalla on Feb. 4 after family members reported not hearing from him for more than a week. Officers found signs of trauma to his body, said detective Steve Berry of the Mesa Police.

During their investigation, police discovered that Walthers has been staying in the apartment with Worzalla. She was arrested for vehicle theft when she was seen driving his car, but denied any involvement with his murder.

Berry said first-degree murder charges were added after Walthers' DNA was found on bloody items at the murder scene along with evidence that she had tried to clean up the crime scene.

Eliminate sugar (especially fructose) and grains from your diet.
Perform 5 repetitions and steadily add stretches 2 at a time as this
routine gets easier. According to the National Institute of Health2, by sleeping on your side you
limit the curvature of the spine that can trigger or worsen back problems.
