A survey that was conducted at Washington State University indicates that people who watch prime-time crime dramas, like Law & Order and CSI, are more likely to help victims of sexual assault than non-viewers.
The study also suggests that the reason for the findings is because crime dramas may help educate the viewers about sexual assault and encourage positive bystander intervention.
