Josh Powell, a "person of interest" in the unsolved case of his missing wife Susan Powell, killed himself and his two boys by setting their home on fire.
Steve Downing, the attorney for Susan's parents Chuck and Judy Cox, told the AP that recently the boys had begun to talk more about the night Susan vanished. "The oldest boy talked about that they went camping and that Mommy was in the trunk. Mom and Dad got out of the car and Mom disappeared." said Downing.
Could that be the reason Powell opted for murder/suicide? Or was there another reason?

Could his motivation have been the aftermath of sexual molestation as a child? His Father apparently had a collection of child pornography.
His Sister indicated that he had suffered a great deal of abuse.
Now Westboro Baptist Church has gotten into the act, claiming that he killed them because of the legalization of same-sex marriage. Can someone explain that to me please?

I dont think it had a thing to do with it.But any time fags get into something its alway bad.they should have a shoot a fag day or smething like that.This guy was a nut that all that can be said about it.Cant blame anyone for it but him, its to bad cant blame the fags maybe we could come up with a new math that could blame them for it.i wish we could but no matter what those poor kids are dead.

Powell was a nut case! Those poor babies were innocents whose last memories were of their mother dead in a trunk and their sperm donor slitting their throats and setting them on fire! Sad for them and their mother. May they now rest in peace.
My condolences to the Cox family and the friends of Susan and her babies.
