Registered sex offender, John Rober Gardner III is currently in jail after pleading not guilty to murdering 17-year-old Chelsea King.Criminal History
Gardner served five years on a six-year sentence for lewd behavior with a minor. He attempted to sexually assault at 13-year-old. He accepted the plea deal and avoided an 11-year sentence. A psychiatrist had recommended the longer sentence because Gardner showed no remorse whatsoever.
Should sex offenders be allowed to enter into plea deals that result in shorter prison sentences?

No. Child sex offenders should have two options. Life imprisonment or capital punishment. Period.
No. Admitted sex offenders should not be rewarded with lesser sentences. Violence perpetrated against women and children is unacceptable and must be discouraged in every way possible.
What does it “really say” about a society that allows men like Gardner and others like him that are allowed out onto an unsuspecting public, to feed off our women and children? This country has effectively thrown up their hands and left us to fend for themselves when it comes to these crimes. So lets ask ourselves “what are we paying a Corrections System for”????

I don’t know about you, but I’ld rather have a sex offender who had sex with an underage GF living next door, that a deranged mad woman, who thinks it’s ok to pull her gun on an Unarmed sex offender, simply because he disagrees with her HARASSMENT.
