The lead suspect in the disappearance of Alabama teen Natalee Holloway has reportedly confessed to disposing of her body again to a television crew, but Dutch authorities dismiss the statement as "lies and fantasy." Joran Van der Sloot claims he got rid of Holloway's body in a marsh in Aruba.In 2007, Van der Sloot was caught on tape saying he arranged to have Holloway's body dumped in the ocean.
Van der Sloot's latest statement was made to a reality television friend of his in the Netherlands sometime last year. The statement contained details similar to those he made in his 2007 "confession."
After learning of the latest statement, officials in Aruba launched another investigation into the details. "What Van der Sloot said was not credible." prosecutors told reporters, "It became clear that this statement is held together by lies and fantasy."
Investigation Going No Where
Natalee Holloway disappeared in May 2005 on the last night of a high school graduation trip to Aruba from her Mountain Brook, Alabama high school. No trace of her has ever been found in spite of extensive searches of the small Caribbean island.
The official investigation into Holloway's disappearance was closed in February 2008 after prosecutors re-arrested Van der Sloot, Deepak and Satish Kalpoe and detaining them briefly. At the time, prosecutors said they had exhausted all of their resources in trying to solve the case.
One avenue of possible information in the Holloway case closed earlier this month when Joran's father, Paulus Van der Sloot, died unexpectedly while playing tennis. Member of Holloway's family believe the elder Van der Sloot was involved in the cover-up of Holloway's disappearance.

Natalee Holloway’s death and unsolved murder is the precise reason I will NEVER go to Aruba. The authorities there covered up this poor girl’s murder. Because of this, her mother was never able to take this child’s body home and give her a proper burial. I think it’s SHAMEFUL the way the government in Aruba covered this case up!
This kid should be thrown in prison for torturing Holloway’s parents with his pitiful confessions. He’s a spoiled rotten brat and karma will catch up with him one day and he will really get what he deserves here on earth. Then, when he dies, God will turn a wrath on him even more horrible than his worst nightmare! I hope I’m still alive to see justice served! The police and government of Aruba should also be punished for covering up for this idiot!!!
