A 39-year-old North Carolina man who was hired by a man to rape his wife at knifepoint, has been arrested after a two-week investigation. Rodney Liverman was charged with first-degree rape and three other sexual offenses and remains in jail on a $250,000 bond.Kannapolis police credited the online classified service Craigslist of helping identify Liverman.
On May 31, a North Carolina woman called police to report that she awoke to find a man standing at the foot of her bed with a knife. The man raped her while he husband watched. The husband was arrested and charged with first-degree rape.
An investigation and search was launched to find the man who the husband had hired through Craigslist to rape his wife. The U.S. Secret Service became involved in the case and tracked down Liverman using a confiscated computer and a cell phone.
It Was Not Role-Play, Police Say
Police said that email the two men exchanged made it clear that Liverman knew the victim was not a willing participant in a role-playing fantasy.
"It is complicated because there is an allegation of role-play," said Capt. Chuck Adams of the Kannapolis Police Department. "However, the information leading up to this encounter has made it clear to us that this individual should have known this was not going to be a role-play."
Investigators found Liverman in Norwood, a town about 50 miles southeast of Kannapolis where the rape occurred.

I, too, am a survivor/victim of marital rape that was set up by adoring, devoted, loving, promiscuious husband while we stationed in Germany with the USAF. The individual he hired was a Master Sargeant, Medic, who had repeatedly victimized his wife and 15 year old daughter with his fists, knives, verbal abuse, sexual assault — all of which the USAF knew. Two weeks before I was raped in my home, paid for by my SSgt husband, this MSgt Medic Bowen decapitated a young Pfc who had the audicity to speak politely to his pretty young daughter and ask if she was alright (after noticing she had bruises on her arms and face and seemed scared of the very air moving around her). The MSgt was never prosecuted for crimes against his wife and daughter. It was all common knowledge around the base, and at both Hahn AFB and Bitbury AFB two hours away. MSgt Bowen flat stated he would kill the young man if he ever saw him near his daughter again. That night, the young man was found outside the base gate, decapitated. Two weeks later I was raped in our home while my adoring, abusive spouse was away on a bowling tournament. He paid the jerk to take me to a base function which I was ordered to attend. MSgt Bowen was given his base of choice retirement, where he died of a massive heart attack in Phoenix, Az, two years later. It took me another 10 years to get out of the abusive marriage — and with no support system of any kind, including from law enforcement. To make matters worse, the bastard set my only son up to be sexually abused. And he is still doing whatever he pleases, including to my life.
When is the military going to clean up their act? If they had of, and had concentrated on matters at home, two horrible acts of terrorism would not have occured in this country. All over the world are stories of military men killing their families, a girlfriend, committing crimes against children (which has become a soft terminology for” child rape”). I think it’s time for God to get down here and pull the pants up around the BibleBelt.
Oklahoma is now 4 in the nation for vicious crimes against women and children, and they are still allowing it to go on; still allowing victims to be stalked (to death in many cases); still helping keep victims victimized, as is the almightily sickening church with its own share of Bible pounding child predators. Our schools in Oklahoma are filled with not only drug addicts and dealers, but child predator teachers and other school employees.
The Oklahoma political stage and employee roster is no better with one case after another of individuals indicted for the rape and prostitution of young boys in juvenile centers; of rape and drugs and prostitution within DHS monitored ‘homes’ for troubled teens ( who get thrown onto the streets at 18 whether they have jobs, places to live or not). The Heartland is still broken, and has only gotten worse since the Murrah Bombing, with even human puke from other countries — including the Middle East — perpetrating their own crimes, including rape and pedophilia. We need to slam the damn door on immigrants, quit allowing their stinking criminals to run loose here, and start executing these pieces of garbage who rape, drug, kidnap, murder, prostitute, and pornographically exploit infants and children.
