Child's Remains Found Near Anthony Home
A water meter reader found the skeletal remains of a young child near a small retention pond less than a half mile from the home of missing 3-year-old Caylee Anthony. Casey Anthony, the child's mother, is in jail facing charges in the death of her daughter.Investigators are working to try to identify the remains which were found in a plastic garbage bag that was duct taped.
The Orange County Sheriff's Office confirmed that the remains found at the site where those of a small child. Reports said a water meter reader picked up a garbage bag near Chickasaw Trail and Suburban Drive in the west Orlando area and a small skull fell out of the bag.
The bag was found 15 to 20 feet off a paved road. Tim Miller, founder Texas Equusearch, said he believes the area where the remains were found were not previously searched because the water level was too high.

"We are assuming they are the remains of a victim," Orange County Sheriff's Office spokesman Jim Solomons told reporters. "We know we have a recent discovery. We have investigators on the scene. We need to determine what we have."
The Sheriff's Office secured the home of George and Cindy Anthony, the grandparents of Caylee, and were planning to serve a search warrant on the home. The Anthonys are not currently at home; they were the california for an appearance on a television news program.
Casey Anthony, 22, told investigators that she left Caylee with a baby sitter in June, but did tell anyone she was missing until July. Anthony has been charged with first-degree murder along with check and fraud charges.

I am also a young mother of a 3 and 5 year old. I could not ever imagine ever harming my children in any way. I hope who ever has done this understands the depth of pain they have conflicted on other mothers around the nation. I am deeply saddened for the family of Caylee Anthony. My thoughts and prayers go out to that family.
If that is Kaylee they found … let the angels take her to heaven at Christmastime and finally give her peace.
As for our society… we allow the predators more rights than the victims. Has Casey given a lie detector test???? Have they really interrogated her to the point of tears. Why do we care so much about Casey? There is a little girl missing and a 95% chance that she is DEAD?????? Where are Kaylee’s rights????? They are in a trash bag thrown in the woods. WAKE UP AMERICA!
I’ve been following this case on a regular basis. I honestly believe the stupid B*tch should rot in HELL, I honestly believe that Casey killed that precious little girl!! If I could get ahold of that Monster of a ‘woman’ I would personally KICK HER!!! She should be given the same type of death her baby endoured! BEAT HER!!! I used to work in a state prison up north, and the inmates don’t find it very cool to be a criminal of child abuse, neglect, or murder… Casey will get hers. I guess that means I don’t have to. But I’d sure like to.
If the remains found DO match little Caylee, I pray from the bottom of my soul she be joined in heaven with angels and love and be safe. I’m so sorry little Caylee… rest in peace.
If this was my daughter and she did this to my grandchild, she wouldn’t jail. Grandparents need to get more involve with the grandchildren. I do. My daughter gets mad but when it comes to the safety and welfare of my grandchildren I speak up whether my daughter likes it or not. My daughter knows what I would do if she ever harmed one of my grandchildren; Jesus would be talking to her in person at the throne.
Oh wow I never in my life thought a mother would kill their own fleash in blood. I mean honestly why would she committ such a crime. Although were giving casey all this sympathy someones gotta put an end to that. Just hurry and charge her no need for any court dates or what not to come up. Obviously she did it. Just know thou shall not kill or you’ll go to hell and whoever did kill that young innocent child is surely gonna wake up in hell one day. I’ve seen my mother prayin’ for this young girl and she’s become protective of us kids. I hope mothers out there will do the same. Obviously this world isn’t a safe place it, a place NOT to call home. I just know that she is in God’s hands now and will be safe and happy no harm will ever come to her again. Didn’t Casey even think that this was going to happen did she know she was going to get caught? Her own daughter dam and i’m only 17 and i totally hate this woman to my gut. This is by far the sadest story I have heard yet. I am the mother of a three yr old and I get so mad each time I hear about the activities Casey engaged in knowing she murdered her child weeks before. This woman is very sick and needs to be in prison getting abused for the rest of her life. To think she actually had police and concerned citizens out looking for a child that she knew was dead is just pure evil. I really hope she burns for this. And I hope that little girl is in Heaven with the angels. Rest In Peace Caylee
