Simpson's lawyers are seeking a new trial after he was found guilty of armed robbery and kidnapping of two sports memorabilia dealers at gunpoint in a Las Vegas casino hotel room.Yahoo News reported that, "Attorney Gabriel Grasso wrote in a motion faulting Clark County District Judge Jackie Glass' decisions during jury selection, her limitations on cross-examination of witnesses during trial and her instructions to jurors before deliberations."

Oh come on! OJ’s attorneys had a chance to pick the jurors too, and I’m sure all the black potential jurors would have been very prejudiced! AND besides, in his first trial 13 years ago, it was mostly ALL blacks on the Jury! So, he should stop his whining and pay the price for his crimes! He is guilty, he was back in 1994 too. He has had all these years to look for the “real” killer of Nicole and Ron Goldman! He’s a joke. He’s arrogant and a jerk! He deserves to go to jail… I hope that Las Vegas Judge does not grant him another trial. It’s a waste of his money and the people’s time.

Don’t be so sure about the double murder case. I have changed my mind & now believe that OJ Simpson is innocent of the 1994 murders of Ron Lyle Goldman & Nicole Brown Simpson & that he is protecting his son Jason Lamar Simpson. I don’t know about his son, but he wasn’t ?ed by the cops & you can read Detective William C. Dear’s report where he has asked the LAPD since 2000 (after his 6 year investigation) to reopen the case & ? his son.
I also have said that this double murder could have been committed by the Mob & that Jason Lamar Simpson arrived there after the fact & panicking, called his dad for help.
Both Ron Lyle Goldman & Nicole Brown Simpson were involved with the mob & Ron Lyle Goldman wasn’t just there to drop off the glasses.
Ron Goldman may have been a drug runner or seller & it’s now my belief that Ron Lyle Goldman was the intended target of the killer(s) & Detective William C. Dear has said that this can’t be ruled. Nicole Brown Simpson was killed trying to stop the killer(s). But given the fact that both victims were involved with the Mob, given that they assumed the risks, are they really sympathetic victims? Do you know the circumstances such as possible provocation, which surround the double murder ? or do simply rerun what the prosecution says ?
With regard to CJ Stewart & OJ Simpson robbery trial, most of them were OJ Simpson’s belongings & they were stolen from him. They would return what wasn’t their’s to the rightful owner. OK, the fact that you’re the rightful owner isn’t a defense to robbery, but honestly, there’s a difference between robbing a convenience store @ gunpoint & taking money which doesn’t belong to you & taking back what is rightfully yours.
The other suspects got lenient plea bargains with the possiblity of probation but such a plea bargain wasn’t offered to OJ Simpson & CJ Stewart. Furthermore, the memorabilia dealers didn’t want OJ Simpson & CJ Stewart prosecuted.
Most people would’ve been treated leniently on the grounds that they were taking back what belonged to them, but the main reason CJ Stewart & OJ Simpson weren’t given plea bargains is because of the belief that many people have that he committed a double murder. Not be reduntant but most of the belongings were his.

As to the robbery, yes, if some1 steals what is yours, then it belongs to you, not any1 elses. There’s a huge difference between robbing some1 & taking what wasn’t yours in the 1st place & taking back what was stolen from you.
As to race card, where was this raised? I’ve stated that I now believe OJ Simpson is innocent of the double murder. Read Detective William C. Dear’s report. He is protecting his son Jason Lamar Simpson. It doesn’t mean that Jason Lamar Simpson did it, but he needs to be interviewed by the police. This double murder could also have been done by the Mob, as both Ron Lyle Goldman & Nicole Brown Simpson consorted with the Mob.

If OJ wanted his things back, there were better ways than going in and taking them by force. He knew what was doing the whole time. I am hoping that the judge doesn’t grant his appeal. There are thousands of prisoners who are innocent but cannot afford a decent attorney to represent them, but OJ’s attorneys practically jumped through hoops for the chance to represent him.

With respect to Nicole Brown Simpson & Ron Lyle Goldman. Yes, it’s horrible that they were killed, but are they really sympathetic victims? Ron Nelson, et. al., so far you’re rerunning the same things that we’ve heard so many times already-race card, got away with it, etc. As noted, I initially thought he did it, but have since changed my mind. You may want to read Steven H. Adler’s book Justice Defeated, where he talks about the reasonable doubts in the case.
I don’t believe it happened for the motives that the prosecutors presented, of course, they don’t have to prove why it happened, only that it happened. But for all of you so sure, what if he really is innocent of the 1994 double murder? Innocents have been tried & convicted before so don’t be so sure. You weren’t there, yet why do you write as if you know what happened, when you only think you know what happened.
All of you that are so sure that he did it may want to read the book Justice Defeated by Steven H. Adler. I read this book & it discusses the reasonable doubts which are in the murder case & why his behavior is that of an innocent man. This double murder could’ve been done by multiple killers such as drug dealers. I now believe that he is innocent & the people who keep saying that OJ Simpson did it say it because they want it to be him. Don’t be so sure that you know he did it, you only think you know but innocents have been convicted.

Nobody put OJ in prison but himself. Frankly, I am sick of hearing about his sorry ass. As for racism, there’s never been a bigger racist than this jerk. He killed two white people and got away with it because he had a judge, lawyers and jury primarily made up of minorities who refused to do the right thing by his victims. This man has had more opportunities to make something positive and constructive of his life than most working class folks in America ever get. He has had the chance to be a positive role model for others to follow. Instead, he made the choices that put him in prison today! What is grossly unfair is that he has been out in society among the rest of us law abiding citizens all these years! What is also unfair is that we have to keep hearing about him. To hell with OJ! What’s so unfair is that we have had to deal with him over all these years. He made these criminal choices of his own free will and accord. Nobody forced OJ to commit these crimes. He did it willingly because he thought he was above the law. Furthermore, OJ has had the absolute best legal defense money can buy. How many regular, law abiding, working class people are afforded the same access to the legal system? The race card was played masterfully on behalf of OJ during his murder trial and he beat the system. I agree that OJs trials were not fair because he had overwhelming access to the system that ordinary folks do not receive. However, this jackass wasn’t satisfied counting his blessings and keeping a low profile after he walked for committing murder. Instead, he kept having run ins with the law. Now after all these years (and multiple brushes with the legal system) he finally managed to break into prison. OJ is exactly where he belongs. Nobody put OJ in prison but himself! He has had his day in court. I applaud the judge and jury that finally had the courage to convict this bastard. What about the fairness of the victims? Where’s the justice for all of OJ’s victims? Grant No Appeal & Maria, you’re passing judgment on the 1994 murder case, when there were reasonable doubts. The claim that OJ Simpson was acquitted because of the race card is a myth. I don’t believe the prosecutor’s theory of why it happened & it’s my belief that the Underworld or Mob committed this double murder. Furthermore, I believe that Ron Goldman was the intended victim & Nicole Brown Simpson lost her life trying to stop the killers. More than 1 killer committed this crime. I also do not believe Detective William Dear’s theory as I believe an innocent person came after it happened. This was done by the Colombian or Mexican cartel.
Also why do you pass judgment on a man you don’t even know other than what’s written in the press? Did you know Ron Goldman & Nicole Brown Simpson? Have you considered that maybe Ron Goldman is not the innocent bystander as he has been depicted? Fred Goldman & his daughter Kim are 2 greedy bastards. Now the Las Vegas robbery is a different matter. But I believe OJ Simpson’s punishment must be reduced on appeal. OJ Simpson & CJ Stewart are supposed to have been punished based on the facts of the 2007 case, not on what OJ Simpson was acquitted of, even if Judge Glass says that she was not influenced. OJ Simpson is innocent. Jason Lamar Simpson is innocent.
The coroner could not rule out multiple killers. He could not even determine @ what time the double murder happened. I know that I’ll be criticized, but I believe that OJ Simpson is innocent & there definitely needs to be a reduction of the punishment on appeal because you’re supposed to be punished for what you did, not what you were acquitted of.

Anyone can think oJ was guilty of murder, but if you really watched the trail, the jury did the right thing. They kept talking about mountain of edvidence. It was a mountain of reasonable doubt. the medical examiner said it was two people who killed them. go online and read the report. You had people that said this amount of blood and then it was missing. Det Vanahter took blood back to crime scene and was gone for two hours and 13 years later still hasent said why. You had to listen to jury instructions. If you find a person has lied you can disregard all of their testomony. too many talk opinions and base none of it on facts. They talk about the car chase but, it was not part of edvidence. Read Marcia Clarks book. With out a Doubt, all she does is talk about her life and make excuses for mark Ferhaman, The gloves not fitting, the nurse who took the blood all excuses.
