Casey Anthony Back in Jail Again
The mother of missing Florida toddler Caylee Anthony is back in jail again, if only briefly, after she was arrested on additional charges related to the theft of a friend's checks in July. Casey Anthony was charged with uttering a forged check, petty theft and criminal use of personal identification.She will be released on bond when she appears before a judge later today.
Casey Anthony was meeting with her home confinement officer when her attorney showed up to take her to jail to face the additional charges. According to the rules of her release, she had to spend the night in jail before appearing before a judge Tuesday morning.
The latest arrest raised questions about why she was being arrested again for the same incident.
"You say same incident. Basically what you have is same victim. But each case, every time she did, that's a separate incident. And when she goes from one store to another store so those are separate incidents stemming from the one theft that is correct, but you know you have to talk to witnesses, get sworn affidavits," said Carlos Padilla from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. Her attorney, Jose Baez, told reporters that no matter what amount bond is set, he has people in line who can bail her out again.

I seen your show and I am disgusted in the way the Florida police are handling this case. Scott Peterson has been convicted with less evedience and yet she is in and out in and out of jail. I think that the Florida police are saying “it’s o.k. to lie to us it’s o.k. to not cooperate. We won’t do anything to you about this We’ll get you for fraud not murder.” Basically if you lie to the police, murder your child, not cooperate you will spend no jail time BUT THE FLORIDA POLICE WILL HOLD YOU RESPONSIBLE FOR A SPEEDING TICKET! YOU CAN COMMIT A CRIME IN FLORIDA AND GET AWAY WITH IT!

WHY ARE THEY FOCUSING ON THE FRAUD AND NOT ON THE MURDER.

I hopeing they are just building a case..in some instances, they make it easier for the person to be free if they suspect that on the outside the person may lead them to more clues or inadvertently the body..This is not over yet, I suspect..
I think people must remain mindful of the fact that this case is an ongoing active investigation, that is playing out in the media in real time. We all have been afforded up to the minute insight & information pertaining to the case, via press conferences,press releases, leaks from the police investigation proper, their has been endles information afforded to us by the Anthony family,the lawyers, the bondsmen,ect., It is important to note that the Orange County detectives had been utilising the media and the public interest in the case to raise the awareness of the case-the missing child at the heart of all of this-to appeal for witness’s/information pertaining to the missing child & her mother.
It is an extraordnary case-but we must realise that the investigation proper is still in the very early stages- Everything pertaining to the investigation, eg.,information received must be thoroughly checked & verified, evidence collected, sent for analysis-& further analysis- It tends to be a slow and gradual thing- Personally am relieved that the Florida police resisted the temptation to charge this woman-and rush this thing. It was at least 2 years of an ongoing investigation by the Modesto police before they brought the charges against Scott Peterson- and this was before the recovery of the bodies.
On the economic charges, Casey Anthony is faced with, I think it is important to bear in mind-that these charges are real-she is suspected of stealing substantial sums of money-and if one bears in mind-that there are probably many further incidents of credit/cash thefts that would prove impossible to prove,at this or any other time, I feel it is incorrect to negate these crimes-after all, If she is convicted of any/all these charges, combined they carry max time behind bars-
It is also interesting to note, that the economic crimes, assist the police by providing them with substantial evidence/information into the established behaviour/activites of Casey Anthony during the crucial period of time, she alleges, that she was actively engaged in conducting her own investigation into her missing child.
Finally as the charges filed against Casey Anthony stack up, This may provide an incentive to her, to break her silence, unburden her soul-as if she decided to admit/confess that Caylee’s disappearance was as a result of an accident-the charge would most likely read as involuntary manslaughter-and the other charges-neglect/obstuction/economic crimes would be dropped-This would mean that Anthony would actually face the minimum time in jail for the role she played in Caylee’s disappearance/death.
Personally would prefer if this case was resolved, sooner rather than later, but if it takes the police 20 years to uncover & prove the truth, beyond a reasonable doubt-so be it, as at the end of the day, this case should be all about justice for Caylee-& not so much about Casey,Cindy,George&Lee Anthony.
Casey is hot. I’d do her.
They should hang that b…h already. She did harm that little girl, where the heck would she be if she is alive somewhere? Noone has come forward to claim the money because noone has her, her mother knows where she left Caylee.
All the lies that she told about where she dropped her off and with whom, is just that that, a bunch of lies.
She just lies and lies, she makes up a story then she has to make up another to cover it up and it goes on and on, in the mean time the whole focus of this is gone from the little girl to her evil heartless cold hearted mother.
No matter what, the truth will come out. We all know the reality is that little Caylee is no longer alive. Casey knows that, she knew it from day one when she called 911. She knew for a month before che called for help.
She had all the time in the world to fabricate all these lies to tell the police.
It’s sickening the way this has turned out, all of us out here, we have certainly been following this story because we love this little innocent child that has been taken so violently by her own mother, the only one person that was suppose to protect her from all evils and hurt.
I pray for little Caylee, whereever you are, you are better there than with a woman that only loves herself.
She didn;t deserve to have You in the first place. God bless you Child.
