'Dungeon Rapist' Gets 25 Years on Gun Charge
A South Carolina man who was acquitted last year of charges that he raped two girls in an underground dungeon has been sentenced to 25 years by a federal judge on gun charges. Kenneth Glenn Hinson was charged with being a felon in possession of a weapon.Hinson had a gun when he was arrested last year on the rape charges, authorities said.
Two 17-year-old girls told police that Hinson had held them in an underground room and forced them to have sex. The underground room was under a tool shed in Hinson's back yard.
During his trial, Hinson testified that he built the underground room to hide his marijuana plants and that the sex he had with the girls was consensual.
Girls Stole Marijuana?
A witness also testified that he overheard the two girls say they had made up the kidnapping story because they had stolen marijuana from the underground room and they feared retaliation from Hinson.
The jury deliberated for about four hours before finding Hinson not guilty of the rape charges, but federal authorities pursued the gun charge. The U.S. District judge told Hinson that his long criminal record justified the lengthy sentence for having the gun.
Previously, Hinson served nine years in prison for the rape of a 12-year-old girl.

child rape, yet 25yrs for the gun violation.
Judge that is messed up, he should be serving
25 yrs for the child rape and 9 yrs for the weapons violation. Judge the reason why these
scumb bags, evil monsters, child rapists, sexual predators continue to molest, rape,
sodomize, children is because judges like you
give them a slap on the wrist.They always get
a plea bargin, post bail, so they can reoffend again and again there is no cure.They are dangerously ill, and will always be a constant threat to our society. As it now stands are children are the ones who are having their civil rights taken away.
Child rapists, sex offenders relinquish their
own civil rights the second they touch a child inappropriately.When they rape a child the sentence should automatically be a life sentence without parole. Until it happens to a member of your family just maybe the laws
will change.
These poor meen did not commit tese murders.
