Weekly Crime Poll: Duke Lacrosse Accuser Writes a Tell-All Book
Crystal Mangum has kept a very low public profile since being accused of lying about being raped and beaten by three Duke Lacrosse players in March 2006. But that is about to change. According to her manager, Mangum, with co-author Vincent Clark, will be releasing a book titled,"The Last Dance for Grace: The Crystal Mangum Story," in October.
"It is the only definitive account of the life and struggles of the woman at the center of the Duke Lacrosse case, the alleged accuser," said the book's co-author Vincent Clark in a press release. " Were it not for the Duke Lacrosse Case, she likely would be described as a bright, young woman from Durham, North Carolina, who has had a difficult life."
The charges against the three men accused of raping Mangum were dismissed and the former Durham D.A. Mike Nifong (pictured) was disbarred and jailed after the State Attorney General's Office reviewed the case.
Poll: Will you buy the book?

Comments
The only reason I would buy this book is if any profit from it went directly to the three men forced to rebuild their lives after her (mangum’s) false accusations.
