3 Tampa Teachers Arrested in 2 Weeks
Within two weeks, three Tampa area teachers have been accused of having sex with their students. The arrests of a middle school teacher, a high school teacher and a substitute teacher have school officials wondering if they should tighten up their hiring practices in the district.

Stephanie Ragusa, 28, a middle school math teacher, is accused of having sex with a 14-year-old. several times.
Mary Jo Spack, 45, a high school teacher, was arrested for drinking alcohol with several high school boys in a motel room and having sex with a 17-year-old.
Lisa Robyn Marinelli, a substitute teacher, is accused of having sex with a 17-year-old 10 times in the past month.
Since 2005, at least 10 schoolteachers in Hillsborough and neighboring Florida counties have been arrested on charges of having sex with students, according to Tampa Bay Online.

I agree with you Magoo. The school system should stop hiring these ppl right off the bat. The safety of our kids should be the first and main concern. I honestly think that camera’s should be installed in classrooms. It may seem far fetched, but they have done it on some school buses. Parents should also pay more attention to their kids. Monitor who they are with and where they are going. It will take a team effort in this. We all have to take a stand against these nasty perverted child preyers.
