Rapper Juvenile's Daughter Killed by Teen
A 17-year-old Georgia boy has been charged with murder in connection with the shooting deaths of his mother and her two young daughters, one of whom is the four-year-old daughter of the rapper Juvenile. Anthony Tyrone Terrell Jr. is being held in neighboring DeKalb County because his mother was a sheriff's deputy for Gwinnett County.
Police responded to a shots fired call in the Lawrenceville subdivision and found a bullet hole in a house. They checked next door because they knew a deputy lived there, investigators said. When no one answered the door, they entered the house and found Deputy Joy Deleston, 39, and her two daughters, Micaiah, 11, and Jelani, 4, shot dead.
Arrested After Interview
About 35 minutes later, Deleston's 17-year-old son arrived at the house. After being interviewed by investigators, Terrell (pictured) was charged with murder and the weapon used in the shootings was recovered. It was not clear if Deleston's service weapon was used.
A spokesperson for the rap star Juvenile, whose real name is Terius Gray, said he was "shocked and devastated" by the shootings. In 2004, after Deleston brought a paternity lawsuit against him, Gray agreed that he was the father of Jelani. He had been making regular child support payments, the spokesperson said.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled next week for Terrell. Because he is a juvenile, prosecutors cannot seek the death penalty in his case.

say say they cannot seek the death penalty because he is a minor, why not wait until he is 18yrs old and try him as an adult? He needs to fry, so taxpayers will not be burdened with having to pay for his food and lodging for the rest of his life while incarcerated.If the death penalty cannot be imposed then life without parole. You are a complete idiot. My cousin is not evil. You need to look up the definition of alleged. Get some business about what you know. You should pray for all parties involved. Another death will not solve anything. That is not what is mother would have wanted.
