A Texas couple accused of tampering with evidence in the "Baby Grace" case have now been indicted on capital murder. Kimberly Dawn Trenor and her husband, Royce Clyde Zeigler II, were indicted after DNA evidence positively identified the toddler found in a plastic storage box in Galveston Bay as Trenor's daughter, Riley Ann Sawyers.
The indictment on capital murder charges means the couple is eligible for the death penalty in Texas, but Galveston County District Attorney Kurt Sistrunk has not yet decided if he will seek the death penalty in the case.
Trenor, 19, told investigators that she and Zeigler, 24, tortured Riley to death in July, then hid her body in a storage shed for two months. They then put her body in a plastic storage container and put it into Galveston Bay.
Tommy Stickler Jr., Trenor's attorney, told reporters that Zeigler wanted Trenor to spank Riley with a leather belt when she failed to say "please" and "yes sir" or "no sir." Zeigler didn't believe Trenor was doing it.
Zeigler stayed home from work to make sure Trenor was following his instructions. Stickler said that was when Riley Ann was beaten with leather belts, had her head held underwater in a bathtub, was thrown across a room, and her head slammed into a tile floor.
Zeigler's attorney, Neal Davis III, told reporters that Trenor's credibility will become an issue once all the facts come to light.

They should be killed in the same way they kill the baby. Evil Evil People. If you didn’t want the baby, there are plenty of people out there would have taken her off your hands. God will take care of you in the end. You will get what you deserve, God will see to that. There needs to be harsher punishment than just putting someone in jail. Whoopee, no freedom, 3 meals a day, excercise, tv, movies, no worries. But for child molester/killers, rapists and other crimes against women and children there is always the threat of your cell mate or fellow prisoner getting next to you. I will watch for the report on this site.
They are monsters, both of them, death penalty for both .
I can’t someone will do that to a child. But they will get what’s coming to them. There’s judgement day will come.

I think they both deserve the death penaltly for hurting such a poor innocent baby. All they want is love and someone to care for them not to hurt them.
how could anyone look into the eyes of a little child and be able to hurt them? It is something I guess no one will ever understand. That poor little girl can never grow up now because of the very person that is suppost to protect her.
