The family of Ron Goldman has purchased the copyright, media rights and movie rights to O.J. Simpson's book, "If I Did It" from a bankruptcy court trustee. According to court documents, the Goldmans also bought Simpson's name, likeness, life story and right of publicity in connection with the book -- all of which they plan to market to try to get some of the money he owes the family from a wrongful death lawsuit.

"Ron Goldman LLC will own Simpson's name, likeness, signature and story and will hawk it to satisfy this terrible judgment. Justice has arrived in Miami," Goldman family attorney David Cook said.

The book was scheduled to be published by HarperCollins last year, but publication was halted after a flood of negative publicity.

Perpetuating a Fraud

HarperCollins paid $630,000 to Lorraine Brooke Associates who then paid the money to O.J. Simpson for "expenses." Last month U.S. Bankruptcy Judge A. Jay Cristol ruled that Lorraine Brooke Associates was a company started by Simpson's daughter Arnelle to perpetuate a fraud.

Judge Cristol ruled that Ron Goldman's family could pursue the rights to the book, if they chose to do so. Apparently, Fred Goldman has decided that he wants the world to read the book, which apparently details the gruesome deaths of his son Ron Goldman and Nicole Brown Simpson (pictured).

Simpson was found not guilty in a criminal trial, but the Goldman family later won a judgment in a wrongful death civil trial which now amounts to $33 million.

The Goldmans want to rename the book "Confessions of a Double Murderer." Cook said the family plans to find a publisher for the book.

Meanwhile, Simpson's attorney, Yale L. Galanter, said the bankruptcy court trustee does not have the right to sell anything on behalf of O.J. Simpson.

I would only buy the book to support Goldman’s and Brown’s families. I think O.J. should pay somehow.

THE GOLDMAN FAMILY NEVER HAD A RIGHT TO BE IN THE CIVIL SUIT IN MY OPINION,THE MOTHER OF THE VICTOM IS THE REASON THE SON WAS REQUESTED TO BE AT THE PROPERTY BECAUSE OF GLASSES.DONT WRONGFUL DEATH MEAN YOU HAD SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE PERSON BEING AT THE PLACE WHERE THE CRIME TOOK PLACE.NICOLE’S MOTHER REQUESTED HER GLASSES TO BE RETRND,NICOLE REQUESTED THAT RONALD BRING THEM PERSONALLY,SO NICOLE AND MOTHER SHOULD BE RESPONCIBLE FOR RONALDS DEATH
