N.Y. Bouncer Arraigned on Another Abduction

Thursday April 27, 2006
A New York bar bouncer, accused in the kidnapping and murder of graduate student Imette St. Guillen in February, has pleaded not guilty to kidnapping, assault, robbery and criminal impersonation in the 2005 abduction of another woman while he was allegedly impersonating a police officer.

On Oct. 19, 2005, Littlejohn abducted a 19-year-old Queens woman while wearing a law enforcement uniform. He handcuffed her and forced her into a van, before she was able to escape with only minor injuries, according to Assistant District Attorney Frank DeGaetano.

DeGaetano told reporters that DNA from the handcuffs matched Littlejohn's DNA and the victim identified the van that belonged to him.

"He's going to maintain his innocence until the day he dies," Defense attorney Kevin O'Donnell told the Associated Press. "He did not touch this woman. He has not touched in a criminal manner in his entire life."

Littlejohn was already being held without bond for the kidnapping and murder of Guillen, who was last seen alive with him outside a SoHo bar where he was working as a bouncer in violation of his probation.
