Neil Entwistle Indicted for Murder

Wednesday March 29, 2006
Neil Entwistle has been indicted by a grand jury on first-degree murder charges for the deaths of his wife and infant daughter, a legal move that will send the case to superior court where he will be arraigned again on the charges.

Entwistle, 27, is being held without bail since he was charged February 16 for the deaths of his wife Rachel, 27, and their nine-month-old daughter, Lillian Rose.

When the bodies of Rachel and Lillian Rose were found shot to death under the covers in a bed in their rented Hopkinton home, Entwistle had flown to England to visit his parents. He voluntarily returned to the United States and was first arraigned Feb. 16.

Authorities believe that Entwistle was despondent over financial problems and planned to kill his wife, child and himself, but did not follow through on his suicide.
