Joran Van Der Sloot admits that he lied about the last time he saw Alabama teen Natalee Holloway, but insists she was alive the last time he saw her, in an interview with "A Current Affair" which will air tonight.

Van Der Sloot, 18, is now attending college in Holland. He told interviewers that he left Natalee on the beach alone the night she disappeared.

"She wanted to stay here the whole night. I told her no I had to go. I even lifted her up to carry her back to the hotel, and she told me to put her down," he said in the interview.

The Dutch teen also admitted to having sex with the missing teen, after she left a nightclub with him, Deepak and Satish Kalpoe, but insisted it was consensual.

"Obviously she was drunk. I had stuff to drink, too," Van Der Sloot said. "She wanted to go with me. I wanted to go with her. It was totally consensual."

Meanwhile, Natalee's mother Beth Twitty insists that Van Der Sloot admitted in statements to Aruban police that Natalee was "going in and out of consciousness" while they were having sex, proving the sex was not consensual.
