Manhunt: Sex Offender John Rollins Tuggle

Police are seeking convicted sex offender John Rollins Tuggle after his 12-year-old daughter, who he had not seen in 10 years, was found with multiple stab wounds beside a rural road near Prichard, Idaho by a passer-by.

The 12-year-old girl was first taken Wednesday to Kootenai Medical Center in Coeur d'Alene and later transported to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane. Authorities said the girl is expected to recover and they were able to interview her briefly Thursday.

Police are searching for her father, John Rollins Tuggle, who was convicted in 1995 for the statutory rape of his sister-in-law. He served nine years in prison and was released in January 2004. He moved to Colorado where he has a brother.

Tuggle is six feet tall, 200 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. He is believed to be driving a red Ford Escort with Colorado license plate number 329-JXG.
