Two Second-Grade Girls Found Stabbed to Death
Krystal Tobias, 9, and Laura Hobbs, 8, were reported missing Sunday after they failed to return from playing at another friend's house. One of their bicycles was found near their bodies, but the other bicycle is still missing.
A jogger found the girls in a wooded area near a bike path, lying side-by-side face up. They were apparently stabbed in the neck, reports said.
The two girls were in the same second grade class at Beulah Park Elementary School in Zion, a town of about 22,000 residents 45 miles north of Chicago.
