Foul Play Suspected for Missing Georgia Jogger
John Mason, Wilbanks' finance, reported her missing after she did not return from her run after almost two hours. Her jewelry, keys, cash, credit cards and identification also were found in her Duluth home.
The wedding, which was scheduled Saturday, was expected to be extensive event, with 600 invitations sent and 14 bridesmaids and 14 groomsmen. Her family members and friends say that she was happy and looking forward to the wedding.
"She was so in love. The wedding is huge. It's the talk of the town. Everybody knows her, and was so excited," said Killie McCauley, a high school friend.
"All of her friends and family said this is totally uncharacteristic of her," police Maj. Don Woodruff said . "We don't believe it was a case of premarital jitters. She did not get cold feet."
