The Case of Stacey Lannert

On July 4, 1990, Stacey Ann Lannert, then 18 years old, shot and killed her father, Tom Lannert, who was asleep in the family's St. John, Missouri home. In her statement to the police, Stacey claimed that her father had sexually abused her. She was arrested, tried, and found guilty of first degree murder and sentenced to life in prison. Should she get clemency?
