Children's Health Affected by Violence in the Home

A new study indicates that exposure to violence and maltreatment by children, especially in low-income, single-mother homes, can play a role in predicting health problems. The research also indicated that substance abuse and the overall health of the mother were factors in predicting children's health problems.
