Accuser's Sister Testifies About Jackson and Alcohol

Friday March 4, 2005
The jury in the Michael Jackson child molestation trial got a first-hand account of events at Neverland Ranch for the first time, when the sister of Jackson's teenage accuser described seeing the singer serve alcohol to her brother.

Now an 18-year-old college student, the sister told the jury that she was often left alone at the ranch because her brothers were elsewhere with Jackson and they made her feel unwelcome when she tried to spend time with them.

"Me and my brother are very close and this all just felt like he didn't want to talk to me, he didn't want to be near me, he was distant," she said. "It felt weird. I just knew something."

She described several incidents in which Jackson gave alcohol to her brothers and other children at the ranch, including her, and told of times where her brother was acting uncharacteristically "hyper."

One of the charges against Jackson involves giving alcohol to children.
