Amber's Book Upsets Laci's Family

Laci Peterson's family is upset with certain aspects of the new book by Scott Peterson's mistress Amber Frey, especially the cover design they found "extremely hurtful and offensive," a family spokesman said in an article by John Cote in The Modesto Bee. "Displaying a picture of Laci on the cover of Amber Frey's book portrays a lack of respect and insensitivity towards Laci and Laci's family and friends," family attorney Adam Stewart said. Meanwhile, reviewers of the book are complaining that it sheds little new light on the Scott Peterson case and the kiss-and-tell effort is a "guide on being a loser."
